The YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth is proud to announce the 2017 Peace Forum event that will take place on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Pier 21 in celebration of YMCA Peace Week. 

Join us and learn to build a more diverse, inclusive, and effective workplace. In celebration of YMCA Peace Week, we are pleased to welcome our keynote speaker, Ritu Bhasin, LL.B., MBA, President of bhasin consulting inc. Ritu has extensive experience in coaching, consulting, and program delivery, across a range of management areas focusing on Cultural Competence, Diversity & Inclusion, Women’s Advancement, and Leadership Development.

Ritu has devoted her career towards leading a diversity and inclusion-focused consulting firm and speaking to groups of people about her insight and passion on authentic leadership and the power of differences. The YMCA is honoured to have Ritu as our keynote speaker at the 2017 Peace Forum, and we hope you can join us.

Tickets include pre-dinner drinks, a 3-course meal, and the keynote address followed by a post-event reception. This event is in support of the new John W. Lindsay YMCA. 

YMCA Peace Forum | November 22, 2017 | 5:30 PM | Kenneth C. Rowe Hall, Pier 21 | $250 per ticket – $2,500 per 10-seat table

The seating for this event will be arranged in tables of 10 on a first come, first serve basis with multiple tickets purchased in the same transaction automatically seated together. However, if you have a specific request regarding who you would like to be seated with, you will be given the opportunity to share this with us during your ticket purchase and we will do our best to accommodate your request in balance with this approach.

A charitable tax receipt will be issued after the event for a portion of the purchase price of each ticket  for the maximum amount allowable under CRA guidelines.
