There was a lot of fun to be had at our end-of-summer Community YMCA BBQ, and it was certainly had by all! To introduce our new Community YMCA Director, Irvine Carvery, we welcomed people from all parts of our community to come out and connect with each other, over some delicious (and more importantly) free food.

The event fed over 160 people with the Cheese Curds Food Truck while both youth and adults jumped on the bouncy castles as the Live DJ played some music. The crowd played, jumped, and danced until the very end.

We were lucky enough to capture a lot of the smiling faces at the photobooth. You can check out the pictures on Facebook!

This event truly showed that the Community YMCA is so much more than just a building at 2269 Gottingen Street. It’s where people can go to learn, grow, build, and be engaged with our community. Sometimes, there’s even food!
