November 26, 2020 Update – Temporary Closure Notice

The YMCA is committed to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. The safety of our members, participants, staff and volunteers is of the utmost importance, and therefore we will take the appropriate measures to ensure that we are abiding by Public Health regulations.
Wednesday November 25, 2020
To comply with the recent Nova Scotia Public Health announcement on Tuesday November 24, effective Thursday November 26, the John W. Lindsay YMCA will be closed for a two-week period. This includes YMCA Forever Fit Programs.
Closure Period: Thursday November 26 – Wednesday December 9 (inclusive)
The Government of Nova Scotia has indicated that the closure period will be reassessed at the end of the two-week period.
The YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth’s first priority is the health and safety of the members, staff, participants and volunteers. We encourage you to access Y at Home www.ymcahome.ca to continue to stay active through this closure.

  • Childminding centre to support parents and caregivers while they work out
