The YMCA operates eight YMCA Nova Scotia Works Employment Centres across greater Halifax and Dartmouth. Our YMCA Nova Scotia Works Employment Centre is a one-stop employment service for job seekers allowing them to job search independently or with assistance of YMCA staff. At the YMCA Nova Scotia Works Employment Centre, job seekers can:
- Meet with an Employment Specialist or Job Developer
- Participate in Employment Readiness Workshops
- Take Computer Courses to Assist in Job Searching
- Have Full Computer, Photocopier, and Fax Machine access Monday-Friday (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
